Our Principles

We are a goup of people in recovery from addiction. All our volunteers have lived experience of life in addiction and the journey to recovery

We know that the recovery journey does not start and stop on the clock and is not just in office hours.

Recovery is all day every day and we are looking to provide activities and events for those in recovery at the weekends and at times when regular services are not availanle.

We believe that recovery is achievable by all, whether with medical assistance or without, and that there is a whole re-set life out there for all who join that journey.

We hope to provide a  number of activities and facilities in due course, but we are starting small with a drop-in on a Sunday where you can meet other people in recovery or seeking recoveru from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol.

Whether you just want to chjill out in the lounge area with a tea or coffee,. or join in with any games or activities which may be going on, you'll be very welcome.

We are just ordinary people on the recovery journey. If you are seeking help on your journey, or want to know how to get started, we always have volunteers on hand who you can talk to and can refer you to specialist help when necessary

We are completely independent and not affiliated to any particular organisation. Each person's journey into recovery is personal and there are no rights or wrongs.

We don't have loads of rules, we only ask that you don't come along in an intoxicated state, or bring any alcohol, drugs, or drugs paraphernalia into the building.

COME ALONG, HAVE SOME FUN OR JUST TAKE SOME TIME TO GET AWAY FROM THINGS!
